The Montsia museum preserves and manages the most important nature, archaeology, and ethnology collections of the region of Montsia and the Ebro Delta, which consists of over 20,000 objects.
The Montsia Museum, after an initial period of operation (1984-2000) which included explanatory sections based on these collections, began remodeling work that focused on three main themes: Archaeology, from prehistory to the medieval period; The Ebro, the water route; The Ebro Delta, memory of an environment, space of some men.
The Montsia Museum, as a cultural, open, and dynamic entity, annually organises activities such as conferences, courses, temporary exhibitions, local and regional tours, and educational workshops, etc. It also offers many services, including library and documentation services.
