The beginning of HOTELES CENTRO CIUDAD can be found in the St. Moritz hotel, in 1993, and in the director at that time, Mr. Joan Asensio Ros. In that year an association of hotels, located all of them in the city centre, is created, with the objective of being able to confront, with more guarantees, the traffic of bookings originated from any point and to this zone of the city in Barcelona. The concept developed with the time, and the mentioned association of hotels became a hotel chain, in 1996, in which all the hotels group under a same direction and property. It is for that reason that all the hotels that comprised of this association then, only the St.Moritz and Regente hotels where left at the front of hotel chain. A year later gets up the first 3 star hotel, the Taber hotel, and then in chronological order follow the Covadonga hotel, the Montblanc hotel and Open hotel, these two last ones of new construction. At the moment the identification of the chain comes given by its initials, HCC HOTELS,with spirit to create a brand that totally identifies with the ideas of an excellent location in center of the city and of a high quality level as far as facilities and services. HCC HOTELS belongs to the Grupo Lutx .
