Sports Museum
The Dr. Melcior Colet Sports Museum and Study Centre is located in a modernist house designed in 1911 by architect Puig i Cadafalch.
Dr. Colet had his medical practice here, and in 1982 he donated the building to the Catalan government so that it could be converted into a museum and study centre dedicated to the world of sport.
The museum’s collection currently consists of various sports-related pieces and photographs, particularly objects associated with Catalan sports, such as trophies, medals, footballs, regulations, and paintings. It also contains objects related to the Olympic Games, such as torches, medals, mascots, and pieces donated by various Catalan Olympic athletes.
