Church of Santa Maria de Avià (near Berga)
The church of Santa Maria de Avià is in the town of Avià in the region of Berguedà.
This Romanesque construction was built in the mid 12th century. It has a single nave with an apse of similar height and width, and is covered by a half-barrel vault, reinforced by two arches. The entrance door is formed by two recessed, semicircular arches. Its bell gable has two openings, with no ornamentation on its exterior.
