Golferichs House

Modernist house designed by architect Rubió i Bellver, and built in 1901. It was the residence of civil engineer and businessman Macari Golferichs, who lived there with his family until the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, when the libertarian militia seized the house with the intention of using it as a working-class university. Once the war ended, it was used as a religious school.

Since 1989, it has functioned as a civic and recreational centre.
