Asia House
Asia House is located in the Palau del Baró de Quadras (Baró de Quadras Palace), a modernist building reformed by Puig i Cadafalch between 1904 and 1906. It has two completely different façades: the main façade has neo-Gothic and Islamic influences and the rear façade is inspired by Viennese modernism. Its interior features a grand staircase and a wrought-iron entrance gate.
It has been based in the palace since 2003. Asia House is an organisation that aims to enhance relations between Catalonia and the Asian continent, by promoting oriental culture.
