This botanical garden was created by Baladre school workshop. It is located on the outskirts of Amposta, and accessed via the Carrova road. The gardens cover 6,000 square metres and contain trees and shrubs that are typically found in the different ecosystems of the Montsià region.
The gardens offer visitors a virtual way to learn about the region’s typical Mediterranean landscapes and the vegetation of its riverbanks and highest mountains. You can see the characteristic vegetation of each area, that which grows naturally or which has appeared as a result of man’s transformation of the natural environment. You can also learn the names of the most representative plants of these vegetation groups, as each group has a corresponding information panel.
Location: Near Amposta, via the Amposta road.
